For Spring 2012, Marlies Dekkers designed a powerful collection inspired by The Far East with aesthetic touches drawn from Japan, China and Thailand. According to the designer, the Far East is a part of our world that "combines age-old traditions with cutting-edge modernity". Each group has very specific inspiration, and is named accordingly. For instance, there's the Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon black satin lady warrior set, the Blue & White China set inspired by 17th-Century porcelain, and our favorite, Kunoichi, the nude with black lace set with neon ribbon detailing inspired by the female ninja.
Any fan of Marlies Dekkers will already know that each of her bras is perfect for layering and having peek out of your top. This brand is a stylist's dream come true since it's so easy to make a statement with a small detail such as a decorative bra strap or a pop of color on the bra itself.
We now have the Kunoichi collection on our website, so see the entire collection here.
